Well, I left Kansas last week and I didn’t get to see as much as I would have liked while I was
there. I did get to four things,
mainly due to rain days: Battle of Blackjack site; Coffeyville to see the Dalton Defenders Museum & the sites of the infamous bank robberies and where the Dalton gang met their end in 1892; the Museum of the Kansas National Guard, & the Kansas Museum of History. All of the places were very nice and well worth the visit. I am planning to visit the MO Historical Society Museum either this week or next to see the Prohibition in St Louis exhibit before they close it. I am looking forward the upcoming exhibit in Nov on the German Utopia experiment in Missouri.

Anyways, on
to gaming related stuff now. So, yes,
the cold, soulless tentacle of GW has wrapped itself around my legs and is
dragging me screaming and clawing into the pitch black hell known as Warhammer
40K. I already have my hardback version
of 6th edition (the edition that everyone has agreed to do), which I
got off of Ebay for just under $18, including shipping, now I just need to read
that monster. As for what I am doing, I
am going with the Farsight Enclave for the Tau.
Finally, I
finished Casino Royale and I finished reading a book of short modern horror
stories for a specific a RPG game setting (Pinebox,TX). But one don’t need to know anything about
the RPG to read these. Now I am reading
a book of Price’s raid in 1864 for the 150th and I plan to start
listening to the Guns of August on audio as well soon.
Be seeing
you
Sapper
