Can you hear the Congo drums?

NUTS!!!  I am going to be spending some money this weekend...

I just saw this on Shapeways.  It is a 15mm Swedish KP-bil m/42 armored personnel carrier and I have been wanting a model of one for many, many years.  They were used by the UN forces during the 1960's Congo crisis.  I have always had a fascination with this conflict, probably because I watched "The Dark of the Sun" one too many times a kid.  So it looks like I need to start up my 15mm Congo War project again!   I think I am going to have to listen to "Mad" Mike Hoare self-narrate his audio-books again too!

be seeing you

Sapper

Cool. Cant wait to see this. There have been a lot of good articles recently on wargaming small wars in Africa of the 1960's/70's.

Joe, are you on twitter? There are some accounts well worth following that publish pics of Swedish Kongo troops.

You are an evil penguin, Thomas!

I am now signed up and I have you on my 'follows'. Since I am new to this, I don't know if I got everything set up right for notifications.

Cheers
